Kaipara Cycling Inc. is a community-driven organisation dedicated to establishing a world-class, non-commercial mountain bike park in the Bayleys Forest, 12 km from Dargaville. By developing the Kauri Coast Mountain Bike Park, the group aims to provide a safe and accessible all-weather facility for riders of all skill levels from beginners to experts.
The organisation continues to foster a vibrant riding community centred around the Pou tu o Te Rangi Mountain Bike Park at Harding Park in Dargaville, featuring four downhill runs and an uphill track built on all-weather sandy soil. To support growing families and young riders, a new progressive skill trail at Harding Park provides a dedicated space for everyone from balance-bike toddlers to beginner adults.a dedicated space for everyone from balance-bike toddlers to beginner adults.
For junior development, the club offers specialised coaching and holiday programmes focusing on fundamental skills.
E-bike riders and fitness enthusiasts are catered to with regular weekly rides either on the road, on gravel roads or on the Kaihu Valley Trail.
