Kaipara Trails
These projects aim to connect Dargaville to the Bay of Islands by completing Stage 2 of the Kaihu Valley Trail that will take it to Donnellys Crossing. A new trail through to the Hokianga is proposed using the Waoku Coach Road. The objective is to ultimately connect through to Horeke at the Hokianga trailhead of the Pou Herenga Tai—Twin Coast Trail.
