It is staffed by a diverse group of volunteers that are all passionate about cycling and bikes in some form.

Whare Bike is open the first and third Sunday of each month from 1pm – 3pm.

Specialist bicycle tools are available for the public to use themselves and volunteers are available to provide advice and bike mechanic skills.

Volunteers also refurbish donated bikes for redistribution back into the community for koha. Bikes and parts unsuitable for repair are broken down and recycled.
