Two ageing cyclists explore the Twin Coast Cycle Trail as part of their epic 7,300 km ride around Aotearoa on an e-tandem. Living in Kerikeri, we find that the trail is also ideal for shorter day rides out of any of the nearby towns.
The Waipu Cove Trail is Northland’s newest shared path and part of the wider Regional Trail vision. It has been a community-driven project led by the Waipu Cycle and Walkway Trust, which was formed to see this project through with support from Whangarei District Council.
