Let’s light up the night! Join the Whangarei District Council Road Safety team to celebrate Puanga Matariki with a free, whānau-friendly night bike ride.
The ride starts at 6pm – the Decoration Station is open from 4pm.
Decorate yourself and your bike with battery LED lights, UV-reactive fabrics, glow gear, and anything that shines before riding a short, safe circuit together with whānau and friends.
The ride starts and finishes outside the Whangarei Library and parades around Cafler Park. Spot prizes, games, and wheelie good fun for all ages.
No lights? No problem! Join our Decoration Station from 4 to 6pm to get ride-ready.
