DESCRIPTION:A chance to explore one of our local rides\, meet knew riding buddies and share some laughs. This is a free event open to anyone with a bike. The route will be a total distance of approximately 16 kilometers\, primarily off road gravel path with a few small inclines. Note there is one section of a few hundred metres where you will need to ride on the road. DESCRIPTION:Whangarei Marsden Wheelers Road Cycling Club are offering the opportunity to try riding a road bike. Lean\, light and FAST – riding a road bike is a very different experience to a mountain bike or regular commuter type bike. At the Bike Park you can give it a try without actually having to ride on the road. The 800 meter circuit track has been purpose built for cycling. \nHave a Go sessions will be on the first and third Sunday of each month from 1-3pm. The club has everything you need\, just turn up dressed to ride.
